After hitting us with his wow banger, "Tongues", singer/rapper/producer IBK titillates us further with his uncanny lyrical prowess on this poetic rhythmic piece that we had some some trouble categorizing!
For starters, here are the lyrics: "Life / a beautiful combination of you and I embedded in word that gave life to everyone/
He who was, is and forever would be I run into the arms of life and embark on a /
Journey to reality / its funny cos we punish ourselves /
With the same things we put in place to control ourselves /
We made money as a legal tender but man has made money tender to his greedy needs / And all I need is /
One mic /
One paper /
One pen /
One dream /
One soul /
One individual in control /
One life /
One opportunity to explain purpose /
My minds like a circus activity so I /
Focus my music in the direction that your ears wont refuse it /
And if it do... /
Then its scared of the truth that hurts the course that's unjust and pause the impulse /

Club X eMag brings to you a flaming hot new debutante on the scene. She goes by the name Mamiska. Armed with a multi-potent blend of a stunning visage, saucily flavoured vocals, fifty-fifty splice of Nigerian-Polish DNA and pulse racing musical composition sensibilities, Mamiska brings a freshness of vibe and edge not commonly associated with much of today's Naija gospel music. On this joint, "What It Is", she is fiercely brazen about her faith, taking you on a zoom ride over a spanking crunk/pop instrumentation by genius beatmaker, Mr J.
Born Mamiska (which means 'mother' in Polish) Kanayo in Port-Harcourt, she started singing at a young age. In her late teens she moved to Calabar and decided to take up singing by backing up a lot of upcoming artistes and non-denominational choirs in '05, and by '06 she had stints with a couple of dance/singing groups in Calabar, the last being 'The Revealed' of which she was an active member for 3 years before going the solo route in '08.
Having been influenced by a lot of artists like Anita Baker, Brandy, Lauryn hill..etc, she started working underground with indie producers like Beatoven, Mr J and Major Bangs to create her own unique sound. A rather unconventional singer majoring in genres of RnB, Soul and Hiphop, her music is set to define the trends for a brand new generation of faith-based acts.
In addition...
She was also recently featured in the Official Remix of Cobham's heat generating single, "Maga No Need Pay" , where she delivered the opening verse to the cracker track, alongside artists such as TBos, K-Peters, Blue C, JB Clem, Mr J, and Vemma.
While not exactly a 'fresh-off-the-editor's-cut' video per se, Vivien Stephen's "Ijo" video is certainly one of those gospel videos that stood out on air when it premiered some months back, and so we thought to serve you all up with this visual delight once again...and just in case you somehow did not catch it on air all this while, here it is.
If you weren't aware of it before, Vivian Stephen happens to be the wife of Mike Abdul of the legendary Midnight Crew. He also co-wrote the track, which was produced by Flo.
Cameo appearances: Dj Gosporella, Yinka Davies & Flo

Embodying the boundless energy, radiance and electrical sizzle of her genre, and armed with enough vivacity, poise and drive to take her craft to the next level, rock debutante Viva is one of gospel's newest, hottest and boldest arrivals on the scene. Staking her claim to her own share of musical territory in an audiospace already dominated by such pioneers as Jahdiel, Et Cetera, Eben, Iyke Onka and Nikki Laoye, Viva is the second artistic offshoot from indie label Tower Gate Records (of Win X Entertainment), already home to hip hop medical icon Dr Sankty. Barely having scaled the age 20 hurdle, Viva is already generating ripples in various underground circles, as well as her home church, Christ Embassy (curiously responsible for generating a sizeable chunk of the industry's acclaimed rock staples), and with her newfound home in TowerGate, is expected to rev up her game by no mean measure.
Chris Tomlin returns with his much-anticipated new album titled ''And If Our God Is For Us...'' which features the new single “I Will Follow” and a new studio recording of the hit radio single "Our God."

Okay, peeps, this is a video that very unsuspectingly caught many unawares when it premiered on Channel O a while back, in that many may not actually have realized it was...that's right...a gospel video! Without closely paying attention to the words, one could easily have been led to believe it was one of those gazillions of formulaic love jams endlessly streaming on cable TV. Or not. This snazzy vid belongs to Tolumide, a US (specifically Washington DC) based Nigerian-Canadian gospel artist with a more than just savvy mainstream credible appeal, proven in the fact that the video has just bagged a Channel O Music Video Award nomination in the category of Most Gifted R & B Video.
Growing up in Nigeria, Tolumide honed her musical gift as a youngster, but ultimately pursued her education in Graphic Arts. As a student at Toronto’s York University, she found herself chasing her first love and ended up as a member of the multiple award-nominated group “Women Ah Run Tings”. With a focus on dancehall and reggae, the group opened up for artists such as Beenie Man receiving airplay on Much Music, Canada’s #1 Video Music Channel. In 2008, she embarked on a solo career and released an EP entitled "Specialty".
